Lightbulb moment for electronics designers at PCB Live

Electronics designers with thermal management on their mind should visit the Future Facilities stand at the forthcoming PCB Live event on March 12th. Here, stand staff will reveal how the company’s latest release of its renowned 6SigmaET simulation software has allowed a leading OEM to create the ideal replacement LED light bulb.

Staff will explain what this significant new thermal simulation software can do in the field of temperature prediction for electronics applications. For example, on the LED bulb application, both temperature and variation forecasts turned out to be within 5% of the actual experimental temperature measurements in the ultimate design.

6SigmaET is being utilised across many parts of the electronics industry with design teams from leading OEMs including Rohde & Schwarz using it for device design, and ATS Europe using it for thermal prediction in downlighting: all can be discussed on the Future Facilities stand at PCB Live.

PCB Live is the UK’s only dedicated event focusing on PCB design, test and manufacture. This one-day opportunity provides senior engineers with a platform to meet and talk with some of the most experienced PCB-related technologists and application experts in the country.
